Returning to the Salone in Milan in 2006, fly-pitcher created an installation of work exclusively in Corian™ Solid Surface material. Dimvar, or dimensions variable, is a visually stimulating display of irregular shards of white thermoformed Corian™ showing the material in an unprecedented manner. The folded shelves, composed in a swirl across three walls appear to float effortlessly off the surface. No two shelves are the same where the unique formal qualities of each piece set up dialogues amongst themselves. Working closely with the producer on the piece, this much-publicised work was the result of collaboration with Dupont™ and Piers, one of only a handful of designers asked to work with Corian™ each year
